November 18th Meeting Minutes

 

Welcome – Visitors and members – 16 people present

 

Secretary’s Report – President Marti Fann read the minutes from last month. Fred Fann took the meeting minutes. Ruby DiVittorio was absent due to her husband’s recovery.

 

Treasurer’s Report – Carol Dutcher stated we have 24 paid members - $720 in dues. $195 in expenditures, $100 in honorariums, $45 for web hosting was paid out. A check for $100 to the foundation and half the dues $360 will be sent to the foundation.

 

Hospitality –Judy Hamilton and Marti Fann supplied refreshments.

 

Exhibits – Winter Artisans Bazaar Saturday December 3rd will be at the Chester Library from 10 to 3. Setup will be Friday evening.

 

Swift Creek Mill Theatre – January 16-20th to hang work, the show would run for 6 weeks until Mar. 3rd. There is probably room for 40-45 pieces of work maybe more if some are small. (carried over from last month’s minutes)

 

Website – Fred Fann – Artist of the Month – Richard Leslie is the Artist of the Month for October and his work is online until the end of November. Terry Lacy will be Artist of the Month for December into January.

 

 

Open Agenda & Kudo’sGwen Beall will have a show in December at Harvest in Chester.

 

Janet Visser will have a show at the Chester Library in December.

 

Next meeting Christmas Luncheon – at Janet Visser’s home at noon on December 9th. People with last name beginning with A to M will bring food and N to Z will bring dessert.

 

Today’s program – is a slide presentation by Everett Butler entitled “Duality Found in Van Gogh’s Work”
